Metro Last Light is a single player first person shooter video game with survival horror stealth video game , developed by Ukrainian studio 4A Games and published by Deep Silver for Microsoft Windows , Xbox 360 , Playstation 3 in May 2013 . A Playstation 4 and Xbox One version has been announced , although no release date have been given . Extremely similar to the original game Metro 2033 , the game is played from the perspective of Artyom the player character . The story takes place in the apocalyptic Moscow , mostly inside the metro system , but occasionally players have mission on the ground as well . As a first person shooter , Metro Last Light features fire arms , some fictional and some based on real weapon , which the player will use in the combat . Combat alternates between the players fighting mutants and the players fighting hostile humans . Mutants do not Posses tends to have weapons and attack the player physically . While the humans fights with the same fire arms available to the players . The game features recharging health rather than a traditional point system , if the players avoids taking damage avoids , health will recharge slowly , how ever the players can speed up the process by using stim from the medkit , its a good games . Metro Last Light IGN rating is 7.7 which means good and its a good game with goo graphics with everything . Metro Last Light takes place after one year of Metro 2033 , that's it .
