This game was released on March 2012 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 , and for PC it was released on May 2012 , and for Playstation Vita it was released in October 2012 . The game features both the characters of Street Fighter franchise and form the Namco Tekken series . In the game , the players take to characters and face other two duos in tag team fighting matches , in which the objective is to knock out one of the member of the opposing team , in addition to the game's multiplayer mode , the game also features Single Player with story revolves around the mysterious box "Pandora". In the Single Player mode player can take one character and the missions would come automatically fighting with one fighter after another at last when they beat all of the fighter they would get the Pandora Box . Street Fighter X Tekken released for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 March 8 ,2012 in Japan , March 6 , 2012 North America and on March 9 , 2012 in Europe . Players each choose two fighters from the Street Fighter and Tekken series . Both sets of characters are controlled by the Street Fighter six button system , but the Tekken characters and perform their own combos with their own four button system . These fighters can be switched out normally or during certain combos .
