It is the fourth installment in the Saints Row series , after the release of Saints Row The Third in 2011 . As the previous titles in the series , the player control the leader of the Third Street Saints , a street gang who has now become the president of the United States . The game takes place after the five years after the events of its predecessor , in a virtual really based on the fictional city of Steelport , in which the protagonist must fight an alien invasion as well as simulations of the gangs and enemies from their past . At PAX Prime on 29th August 2014 , it was announced that the game would be ported to Xbox One and Playstation 4 as Saints Row IV Reelected and the release date is January 27, 2015 in North America . It is really amazing game , you can go any where bit like of Driver 3 but its graphics is much better thanat that and its action as well . You can steel cars from others and can drive it by yourself . Saints Row IV IGN raing is 7.3 which means good and its good game . The game's plot sees invading aliens placing the player into a computer simulated version of Steelport early on , and the bulk of the game takes place with in the simulation . The simulation has Steelport constantly cloaked in the darkness of night , with lagely computer themed twists on classic Saints Row elements .
