Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out Of Shadows is a action adventure downloadable video game of 2013 developed by Red Fly studio , and published by Activision based upon the mostly ongoing cartoon series on the Nickelodeon , with small inspiration of the original comic series , 1987 TV Series , and films . Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out Of Shadows was released on August 28 for Xbox Live Arcade and Steam . The game features a four online multiplayer mode and two offline multiplayer mode . As of September 2013 , the Online Co-op of the steam version is suffering by some of the technical difficulties . The Playstation Network was delayed , the reason was that to polish the game more before release and to likely address issues from the Xbox 360 and the Microsoft Windows version from the game . On April 1 ,2014 it was announced by the Red Fly Studios that the PSN version would be released on the April 15th on the PSN store . The PSN version of the game featured very identical , with hardly any of the aforementioned issues addressed , despite the Red Fly Studio promised to present an experienced polished to the highest levels .
