Inversion is a third person shooter game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Namco Bandai Games for Microsoft Windows , Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 . It was released on June 5 , 2012 in North America for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and it was later released for Microsoft Windows in North America on 26 July 2012 . In Vanguard city , Police man Davis Russel and his partner Delgado has duty when the city is attacked by a strange barbaric type army called Lutadores Arms with gravity defying technology . As panic Spreads , Davis and Leo quickly go to the Davis's apartment to check his wife and daughter Cara wife Leila daughter . As they arrived there Cara was wounded and Leila was missing , Cara dies from her injuries and Davis and Leo were soon captured by the Lutadores who had taken control over the cit .
